A must read if you have any interest in the corruption in politics. *****

The dark side of the canyon.
1 of 1 found this helpful Many didn't make it out alive, and many deaths remain shrouded in mystery to this day. Far more integrated into the scene than most would like to admit was a guy by the name of Charles Manson, along with his murderous entourage.
Also floating about the periphery were various political operatives, up and coming politicians and intelligence personal, the sort of people that gave birth to many of the rock and film starts populating the canyon.
And all the canyon's colorful characters- rock stars, film stars, producers, hippies, murderers and politicians happily coexisted alongside a covert military installation sat at the top of Laurel Canyon.
Great read, eye opening, fascinating, bone chilling, unbridled debauchery, full-tilt depravity and shocking carnage.....
Oh the CIA invented hippy dream (nightmare).......Tune in, Turn on, Drop out.
