More than happy with this watch
2 of 2 found this helpful This is my first non-diving watch in many years. I decided that I wanted a sturdy but stylish travel watch-- one that would automatically keep track of time no matter where I was in the world. This watch fits the bill perfectly.
First, it is a satellite watch with gps capability, so it will automatically (with the push of a button) locate your current time zone and change time and perpetual calendar to match. The satellite connection works its magic much more quickly than atomic watches, btw.
Alternatively, you can manually set your time zone in about five seconds, by unscrewing the crown and rotating the second hand to match the major city in your current time zone. Screw the crown back in and voila, you just changed your time and calendar from LAX to Paris. Easy-peasy.
Second, the watch is almost bullet-proof. It is a field watch with a tough sapphire crystal, meant to take rough treatment without a fuss.
Finally is a gorgeous watch-- a very attractive green face with a nice, thick brown leather strap. Very nice lume. It just seems flawless to me. I suppose that I might miss the rotating time bezel that divers' watches have, but I already have a couple of dive watches for that. This watch does so many other things in a brilliant little package that I am more than happy with it.
