Ack Ack Ack! Mars Attacks!

A totally fun game. I had to get past the cost of the game, plus the cost of any additions/extensions. But when one looks at the cost of games today, you just have to 'bite the bullet' and get it. Well, I bit the bullet and shelled out the greenbacks for this little gem. The quality of the game pieces is absolutely fantastic, and the play of the game is fun. What more can you ask for? The whole idea is to have fun, and this game delivers it.

Huge playset, beautifful castle

MARX made great playsets that have lasted over 50 years. This is also a great playset that will give children months of pleasure, but probably not years. The other MARX playsets had buildings and fortress walls made from tin or plastic which have withstood the test of time and are still used today. This particular set has walls made from cardboard, so it will most likely not last as long as the old sets. This drawback is mentioned on the box, so the purchaser knows before purchasing that the walls are made from cardboard. Other than this drawback, the set is huge and the castle is actually larger than the older sets. Still a great set!
