Great Value Antenna For The Novice or The Veteran.
What a neat little thing! The antenna seems to be adequately built for the price, and also has great SWR! I wouldn't expect an antenna this cheap to hit below 1.5 SWR but this actually surprised me! I found that this antenna gets 1.1 to 1.4 SWR across the 2M band and similar results on the 70cm band.
It is very flexible too. I have this mounted on my 1991 chevy about 2 ft in front of my standard FM radio aerial, and this guy is sometimes bent so far back while i'm driving that is gently taps the FM aerial. Actually, I should probably move it forward a bit so I don't accidentally blow out my radio with the high RF.
I recommend this antenna for anyone trying to get on the air quickly and cheaply. I may update this post when I get a few contacts.

Great Quality, Flexible, and Bright.
I purchased just one of these strips to use in my holiday lighting display.
Pros:
Lightweight
Flexible
Bright enough for daily use
Cuttable
Works with any 6803 controller
Cons:
NOT adhesive backed
Easily damaged (I already damaged it)
Not easily repairable if damaged
The cons as you can see do not affect most people. For some it does not matter if there's adhesive or if they are fragile. But they are there. If you do damage a section of the strip like I did, there is no easy way to repair it unless you have a hot air rework station handy. I managed to step on my strip just right so that the circuit backing creased over one of the IC's making the rest of the strip useless without cutting the bad pixel and soldering back together.
Other than that, these strips are great and show very good waterproofness, I would imagine you could even place these underwater as long as the two ends of the strip are not submerged although not recommended. You could have a rainbow Koi pond!

Can be finicky with the Pi-Star software, but works very well!

Very easy to set up once you figure out the software, and the range is plenty for hotspot use as I can use this hotspot from 5 blocks away! (line of sight)
I highly recommend this to anyone looking to get started in DMR, Fusion, or D-Star without spending a fortune.
