HD 205 beats the competition...

owned Sony & Pioneer amongst others and for the price they are hands down unbelievable. Bass is punchy and the mids crystal clear. I bought my first ones back in 1999 then went onto others and last year comeback to buying them after breaking my Pioneer 1500’s. I couldn’t believe the difference in sound. Just bought a spare.
Top drawer. They really are.
