An entry leved DSLR, it works fine, but the need for lenses with an inbuilt focusing motor lets it down.

Buy it, there is nothing better.
2 of 2 found this helpful I already owned the Nikon SB R1 kit and thought an additional set of SB200 speedlights would enable me to be more creative, so I bought an additional kit. This was as cheap as buying just 2 SB200, so a no brainer! I can now use two of the lights attached to the camera to give me even lighting when working in macro and also add rim light from behind the subject. with the 4th light I can now add a coloured gel and introduce some mood to the picture. With the 4 sb200s, the commander unit and my 2 SB800s I can do almost everything a full set of studio lights can do. A great system, I can recommend it.
