Best lipstick, imho!
1 of 1 found this helpful I absolutely LOVE this lipstick. The texture is very creamy, but not sticky or greasy. It goes on very smoothly and has always had long wearability for me. Let's talk about the color. This shade, Notting Hill Nude, is my favorite lip color because I am a pale gal and most nudes just wash me out. This one doesn't. It adds just enough neutral color (it has a slight warm tone on me - I'm a redhead) and it goes with any makeup color or clothing I wear. Now...here's the bonus, and that extra quality that makes me keep tracking it down, since I can't find it locally any longer: when I wear this shade my teeth look like I've just come from the dental office, right out of the chair from a whitening treatment! My teeth look whiter than with any other shade of lipcolor I own (that's a considerable amount - I have an addiction!) I bought this shade, immediately loving the color, but did not expect the extra perk of a whiter smile! Rimmel always brings their A Game to the table and they hit a grand slam with Notting Hill Nude!

Smooth and silky!
It was really nice to be able to try this foundation before purchasing, especially since I consider this a more expensive makeup than I usually buy. I love this foundation. The texture is so nice and applies very smoothly. It didn't seem to settle into my fine lines under my eyes. It lasted really well, several hours, without any change to the appearance. The only reason I likely won't purchase this makeup in full size, is because I am very fair and I felt the lightest color was a bit too yellow on me. If YSL makes this in a porcelain neutral, I'll splurge without another thought! It really is a beautiful foundation.

Beautiful sophisticated purple!
I love this palette, especially for the color in the upper left corner, the navy-purple shade. That's why I searched to find this palette. The shade is great for an older redhead. It's not too purple, it's deeper than a violet, and it's not shimmery or sparkly. It's a hard color to find and I wish it was available in a single. The other shades in the palette are very pretty and I will play with them, but I bought this for the sophisticated "purple". The pigment has staying power, doesn't crease (I do wear an eye shadow primer) and there isn't much fall-out. I would highly recommend this palette and hope NYX and others will consider making singles again. I have walked away from palettes many times, because I end up using one or two shades and not the others included, so I feel it's a waste. If this purple shade wasn't so hard to find, I probably would not have purchased this one. I will give the other shades a try, though. I'm happy with my purchase!
