Sennheiser HD 650 - Reference Class Stereo Headphones

Overall good headphones

Nice set of headphones overall. I drive them with a Bottlehead Crack OTL amplifier and they work well together. I was really hoping for a bigger improvement over my old HD250 Linear phones. They are better, but not by a wide margin. I would say the bass is tighter (not always a good thing for me) and the mids are a little muddy. But overall I am quite pleased.
