Look like Lewis Hamilton!
Good quality cotton, well made, neat clasp fastener, fits well. Sun still gets in your eyes in the straight-ahead position, but that's the case with any baseball cap

Palm Z22 PDA
I need an organiser as I have the world's lousiest memory. I started off using Psion units - Sienas, then 3 Series and 5 Series. The operating systems and functionality was fine, but the hardware itself was far too fragile and ill-designed, so I switched to Palms. Started with a Zire but it wasn't very resilient, so moved on to the Z22. I've been using one for 2 or 3 years now - the one I bought off Ebay was as backup in case my current one bust, which it hasn't.
The Z22, although very similar to the Zire, does seem to be more robust. The touch-sensitive screen works well, there are no moving parts aside from the on/off switch so very little to go wrong, and PC synchronisation is simple. Along with the PC synchronisation software there is a "Palm Desktop" program, on which you can do pretty much anything you can do on the device itself, but with the benefit of a keyboard, cut'n'paste, etc, so it's quite easy to import text files into the Z22. On Synchronisation, the software will automatically cross-update the latest versions of the various bits of data.
The operating system itself is not quite as good as Psions - the Search facility is very rudimentary, you can't choose what applications to search, and there are no "Caseblind / Case Sensitive" or "Whole / Part Word" options, and for Recurring Calendar items you can delete "All" or one specific instance, but you can only edit "All". For the most part, though, it does what I need. The Calendar, Phone/Contact list and Memo facility are pretty much as you'd expect from any organiser, and there's a calculator, Expense Account Manager which I haven't tried, a World Clock, and it comes bundles with a version of Patience (or "Solitaire" as the Yanks insist on calling it), and a maddeningly addictive game called "Crazy Daisy". There's also an application called Notepad that you can use to write or draw on the touch-sensitive screen. The device is also very light and compact. Data is entered either by tapping on an on-screen keyboard, or using the "Graffiti" method, which works better for some letters than others.
On the whole, it does what I want, reliably and with no fuss, and with just the few minor flaws I've mentioned, and overall I would recommend it.
