Following very speedy and helpful communication with Jess I was offered a 50% refund or the option of having the product reordered. I was very happy with the customer service and Jess's suggestion about the box - it was for a Mothers' Day gift - so accepted the refund. I have given the item description 5 stars as the shakers were not damaged.

As such they advised me of the situation and withdrew the item from their sellers list and arranged a refund. Considering this was a pre-used item and as such was not expecting the item to be in perfect condition I was very impressed with the honesty and fairness of the seller.

Fortunately, it does matter too much to me. On the plus side was good communication.
