Test before fitting

I should have tested this item before fitting as it did not recognise the SIM. If I had have checked at least I could have returned it, as it is it is sitting in the phone and if I remove it it buggers up the adhesive pads rendering the card holder totally U/S. I didn't dare try the SD card holder as I don't want to risk losing the data.

Novel use

OK I didn't buy these for their normal intended purpose, that of securing pipes or tubes, but to fasten a bottle cage to a pair of bicycle handle bars. Most bars are 22.8mm but I was after fasteners for 25.4mm (1 inch) bars. Most cage holders for this size cost a lot more than this option and with these being stainless steel they won't rust. So 5 star for the use to which I put them and I saved a few quid as well.

Solid replacement hard to tell from original

Please watch their video before attempting the replacement procedure, don't make the mistake I did. Arrived ahead of schedule. With the aid of their YouTube video I was able to swap the necessary components over very easily. There was no need to file any of original parts to make things fit. One word of caution, be very careful when prying open the original key fob, which is why I referenced their video first thing, I applied a screwdriver blade and accidentally damaged one of the micro switches. Fortunately I was able to affect a repair. This of course has nothing to do with the replacement fob which was really easy to open and reassemble. Finally, if you want, you can remove the emblem from the back of the original fob and fit it to the new one.
