Quality control issue
I got a set of these for my Audi wagon trunk. Within 1 week, one of the struts sheared out of its connector and pierced my tail light with 120lbs of force
the 2nd one hasn’t failed yet, seems to be doing ok. Not sure how long it’s going to hold up
