Impressive Growth
Took longer than described to break free, and in fact I had to help it on its way out after 4 or so days waiting. It was clear that the egg was getting thinner, but myself and the baby were getting a bit impatient. Not quite sure what the dinosaur is made of, but it feels like rubber and has a wet feel, but is not actually wet - I guess this just comes from the properties of the absorbent material. Anyway, very impressive growth. Started off in a large glass where the egg had been (larger than a pint glass). Then we had to keep on transferring to larger receptacles in order to let it keep growing. We still ended up with a stunted tail due to it being restricted by the vessel. Got to a good 11", maybe bigger before it was taken out of the water to be played with and has not made it back yet. It has since slowly shrunk. Therefore I cannot say how big it would have got. In theory it has the potential to get very big, but you would have to keep it in the bath. The details on the dinosaur are not fantastic, but I was not expecting them to be for something that grows so much, but all in all a good buy. If my daughter was a bit older it would have been even better.
