You almost get what you pay for.
These tear at the elastic more easily and more consistently than previous batches I've bought. Considering the low cost, I'm not too disappointed. They still serve well enough for my purpose most of the time.

My favorite cookbook!
I bought this cookbook in 1986 or 1987 when a salesperson came to our office and left a sample. I've been using it ever since. Now that my sons are grown, I bought them each a copy.
Ingredient lists are set up in a table format, with columns for different number of servings. It tells you what size pan or baking dish to use for each. Many recipes are "basic," with options given for variations.
Lots of helpful tips on meats, poultry, fish, herbs & spices, etc. Great foundation for the beginner, with plenty of variation for the more experienced.
