Easy to use but expensive
4 of 4 found this helpful It costs a lot to have it flown from Japan but it is certainly easy and effective to use. I have some cheap leather with a really fuzzy flesh side which Tokonole and a glass smoothed to a perfect surface. It goes on easily with a palette knife and is easily worked with the burnisher.
Good stuff - I wish there was an Australian outlet.

Wouldn't cut butter right out of the box!
After paying just a few cents for each cutter, I had to take the set to a professional sharpener. For $5 each he put a perfect cutting edge on these items. Get someone who is experienced in sharpening gouges, and has the machines to do it. I ended up paying another $65 to get a useable set and am now pleased with the product.
Be prepared to spend hours putting an edge on them, or paying an expert to do it.
