Flawed editing onto vinyl destroys continuity of the music.
Whilst the sound quality of this vinyl is very good, aside from one visible mark which is audible on side one, I am very disappointed with the editing of the transfer. The second and third movements are played without a break, with a musical transition between the two. This same recording on CD, SACD and streaming services maintain this correctly, but on this vinyl copy there is a break of a couple of seconds between the two movements (side 2) which causes a very jarring break in the music and makes it almost unlistenable for me. Whoever edited this recording clearly has no idea about the music. What a wasted opportunity! It could have been so much better.

Simple piece of card with gridlines on it and a hole that is placed over the turntable spindle. Fit for purpose, but expensive considering what it is.
