Mad-ly Entertaining!
This is a fun, informative book concerning some of the many Mad imitations from the 1950s. Mad's outlasted them all, though just barely, as that magazine's about to go all reprint. But this book is a good read, and worth getting.

Classic Comic Book Collection!
Superb choice of comics in this 1980 collection. Not your usual superhero fest, though some of those too. But great choices as far as funny, clever comics from the 1940s and 1950s. Sheldon Mayer's Scribbly, John Stanley's Little Lulu, Jack Cole's Plastic Man, plus some great Kurtzman EC stories and more. Full color, shot from the comics. The photos are a little fuzzy in spots, as the technology has improved some over the decades. But a great book with incisive text pieces too. Don't miss it!
