Garage proprietor & 20 + years mechanic.
Brilliant idea, works a treat and at a fraction of cost of replacing linkage. Wouldn't be a permanent repair but gets you back on road. Highly recommended !

Great machine.
Heater arrived, unboxed it, takes a bit of time to get chimney set up, but better getting it right from start. Took a couple of attempts to get it running. I find 1/2 & 1/2 mix of kerosene & diesel works best for starting & nearly 500ml rather than the recommended 250. My garage is around 900 m3 & is well able to keep it toasty at less than half power (with outside temp at 8 degrees Celsius) Bit noisy when running but you can still chat on mobile beside it. Fair bit of money to invest in a heater but well worth it. Uses about 30 litres oil at half power 9am-6pm. Friend has the smaller one (17-33kw) & nowhere near as good. Burns very clean with no smoke & free heat !!!. Have made heaters in the past, had space heaters, gas ones, all shapes & sizes, all a waste of time, troublesome & some probably lethal !. If. You. Have access to waste oil then save the pennies & get one. Well worth it.

Avoid
Cheap and nasty, wouldn't take charge after first use. Total waste of money.
