Old but good
2 of 2 found this helpful Its a studio in a box.
If you cant afford the computer protools route and want something that can record and entire band, there isnt much else that will do it.
The spirtual successor is the Zoom R24 but the Korg is a more pro machine than that.
12 inputs - 8 xlr and 4 x 6.2mm jack (get a jack to xlr adapter and you have 12x xlr)
Recording an entire live band, in particular drums needs lots of inputs
The learning curve is steep, and to be honest other than metronome functions the on board drums leave me cold, but stick with it and the results are excellent
The compressors/limiters are great, on board verbs etc verry good, easy to use EQ and on board mastering tools are not bad at all.
If you wish you can export the wav files 16 or 24 bit at 44.1 or 48 , to a computer and get it mixed/mastered elsehwere - so cheap way to track
If you can find one with a 2seemy conversion you can attach a computer monitor making the machine much easier to do.
Its a cracking way to record a live band , and you can add extra tracks upto 16 at 24 bit or 32 at 16 bit
Search Petty Youth Tunes on bandcamp - all recorded live with overdubs and mastered on the Korg

The best mid range music player by far
I own an original xduoo x3 and an X10. This is clearly a few generations from the original x3 and one on from the 10.
The interface is very easy to use. It is quick and does not hang and the sound quality is excellent. It feels like a quality item in the hand and having tried a few other cheapish MP3 players it's far ahead of the pack at this price

great value
comline filters , are as good as OE
The only utter Pita with this is they have changed the end of the filter to one that fits into a filter socket , to one that does not.
Not usually an issue when putting a new filtter on, but when taking one off, using my trust filter socket set gets me out of lots of holes
