Does the job just fine
This kit is quite comprehensive, and had all the necessary adapters for my car - just compare the glow plug you remove to the multiple glow plug/injector adapters in the kit, and choose the closest match. Bolt in the adapter, connect up the pressure gauge and its ready to test.
The testing was very straightforward, taking about 15 minutes to test all 4 cylinders, and it confirmed what I thought was the problem - lack of compression on cylinder 3 and 4. The gauge retains the pressure reading until released so it can be operated single-handedly.
Having only used it once, I can't comment on durability. I wouldn't expect it to stand up to the rigours of commercial use as there was some marking on the threads of the adapter having inserted and removed it four times, but for the averge home mechanic it should be sufficent and certainly a lot cheaper than having a garage do the work.
