Baofeng is Big Bang for the Buck
1 of 1 found this helpful Definitely worth the price. These radios perform well and are easy to operate. Many useful features. Can't find any major cons. The audio quality is great and they are easy to program with the optional USB to Serial cable. (Be sure to get the recommended cable). Even if you're not into Ham radio, they make great family or sportsman radios.

Very Good Quality Single Gate Type
These are very good quality MIL spec parts, however, they are NOT dual-gate. These are single gate MOSFETS that seem to work fine into at least VHF. These would be a better deal if they were dual gate as advertised, but they're great as single N-channel types.
