Convenient, strong for a spray adhesive, but expensive.

I bought this glue for bonding leather overtrim to car interior plastics. I had previously used the spread on type contact adhesives for this, but found that difficult to achieve an even coat, so thought I’d give this a go instead. Whilst not as stronger bond as the spread on type, it is strong for a spray on adhesive, and is far less messy to apply. However at more than twice the price I don’t feel it’s twice the product.

Great match against factory leather trim

I have a 2008 Brabus and wanted to match the interior leather and stitching. Colour and quality of these are spot on. Fitting is not the easiest diy job though, as the leather is a shade over 1mm thick on average and not too forgiving when it comes to stretching over and around the trim contours. Obviously you have to remove the trim to fit these, and you’ll need to use a very high strength contact adhesive to make the leather hold it’s bond over time. If you have done this kind of thing before you shouldn’t have any problems trimming your panels with this product, but you may find the tolerance is quite small and the leather is cut very exactly to size, so if you don’t position it exactly in the correct place then there won’t be any spare left over to fold over the edges neatly. However if you manage to fit them cleanly and crease/wrinkle free the overall effect is very good and looks very own factory finish.
