Easy to install but interference is a problem

Found this product very easy to install and for the most part works well but interference can be a bit of a problem from time to time. Usually image is clear, sometimes crystal clear and others you cannot see a thing. Its not from mobile or other car accessories and not due to distance between transmitter and receiver. I have it installed on a VW EOS, very short distance between transmitter and receiver, maybe 150 cms if viewed in a straight line so its not a distance issue.

A basic DAB+ tuner with limited capability and questionable antenna quality

Bought this unit to go with my XTRONS Android head unit. It connects fine and scans stations easily enough and is quite good whilst stationary but once the car is on the move the stations consistently drop out espacially on highways or around the city with the high rise buildings. Using this unit in Melbourne, Australia.
