old friends
My daughter (now grown) always loved all the Richard Scarry books and the characters found in them. Now that she is a mother, she said she hoped she could find some of her favorite books to share with her son.
Since they are sometimes difficult to find, I turned to ebay.
they are excellent books to interest a child in reading, as they begin with the pictures and can tell you what is going on. eventually they recognize the words and reading has begun.
I would trust the Scarry books for any child's library! Thanks to ebay, we have lots!!!

through generations
This story has been around for a very long time. It was something I read, my daughter read and now her son will be reading. The story is timeless and the characters are real! It teaches caring and respect to youngsters. All of this is due to a very special police office and a duck and her ducklings. I have never met a child who did not relate to this story and wish they could be a part of it.
