I own 4 of these !
I rated this 5 stars based on value. I own 4 of these radios. I use two in my ham shack, one for voice, and the other for data/packet. I bought two more for my vehicles. Simple to use and program. Its a good value for your money.

Better Tone and More Overhead
1 of 1 found this helpful I used this tube in the V1 slot of my 18 Watt EL-84 head imported and sold by Spec-Ops (A marshall-like clone).
The head was a little too much gain for my needs. This solved my tone issues immediately.
Best decision ever. I have more clean overhead room now and the tone is more of a crunch sound rather than melt-your-brain overdrive.
Low noise level, and a perfect lower-gain tube for my application.

Used it today to set up my Telecaster....there are certain tools you need on your bench...this is one of them !
