Fuji FinePix F480 Digital Camera
7 of 7 found this helpful I bought this camera after losing my Panasonic Lumix. I chose it because it was the cheapest decent brand compact zoom I could find with a 28mm equivalent wide angle zoom.
I use the camera in my work - I record before and after images of interior home improvements (hence the need for the wide angle). I also used it on a recent ski holiday and it coped fine with the challenges of bright white glare.
Pros:
Wide angle zoom lens.
Ease of use - simple and intuitive.
Picture quality. Every bit as good as the Panasonic Lumix that was twice the price!
Value for money.
Size. Neat and compact but still easy to handle.
Good package includes case.
Battery life. Excellent.
Cons:
The plastic feel to the body is clearly where Fuji have saved some cost. Time will tell how well it bears up to wear & tear.
Summary:
At the typical price for this model (probably less than £100 in most cases) I have no hesitation in recommending it to any beginner or slightly more experienced user - if you want a wide angle I don't see any other coming close.

Great idea poorly executed.
Great idea poorly executed. Leaks badly when connected. Dangerous to have leaking petrol. I tried several similar products, each had the same issue. Junk.

Perfect and easy fit.
Just the job. I've always had wind deflectors in my van so when I got the transit I wanted similar. These just slot into the window channel. A two minute job. Look good, easy to fit and do the job nicely.
