People say what they are paid to say
Haven't used these yet, but I have looked them over thoroughly and I'm pleased with the quality of the files. Alot of "experts" rail against buying anything but Stew Mac or Fret Guru--in other words, stuff that costs anywhere from 2, to 4 or 5 times more but is far superior to anything costing less. Keep your expectations in the real world, and understand these files are not on the same level as top of the line brands. They are, at least in my mind; an excellent value that will do the job as advertised.

Attention to detail can make a huge difference
These are a perfect match to the mounting plate on this project. Arrived very quickly, and they will look fabulous with the black chrome, or cosmic black plate, that on a black guitar, look so much better than chrome or nickel hardware. At least in my opinion. Thanks again, and I highly recommend this seller!

The Frugal Luthier
I can't believe what Stew Mac and others are asking you to pay for a pair of fret tang nippers. I bought 2 of these and with some careful grinding and filing, they work great for less than 1/4 the cost. Necessity really is the mother of invention I guess!
