Great value, could be better
1 of 1 found this helpful Used to create a cross pull with existing lat pull set up, Good value and works as you'd expect but there are a few issues, The length of cable means it just reaches the floor but its mounted on a low ceiling meaning for most users it will hang when not in use, this could be an issue when changing weights because you have to unbolt (by hand) the plate carrier/holder and then line it up with added weights, easily done with 10-15k but gets much harder the heavier you go. As this it's fiddly it becomes a pain, it's very seldom i'd go to a machine and just work with one weight set, more like warm up increasing weight stack 2-3 times then work to max weight stack slowly reduce weight stack while working to failure @ each set. This means several plate changes, aka a real pain as the system is not the fastest. it might be prudent to have a table/base the weights can rest on as it will help.
Some sort of cable stop allowing you to decided how much cable movement there is could be good and aid safety,
As I've got it set up in a garage it's easy to see the fixing points, i used a large scaffold board and attached/laid across open rafters/joists, if you can't see the fixing points i.e you've a plasterboard ceiling you'll need to find the above joists or floor boards or similar fixing points. But good screws/coach bolts will support huge weights.
The cable also jumps off the front wheel with little provocation, 2cmm deeper wheel guides would solve this, i'm looking at some sort of oversized washer that might do the job and an alternative weight stack system to take it from 4 star to 5!. Defo worth the money, if your plans are 50 kilo plus i'd suggest a bigger more robust set up.
Dominic.

Great addition to SuperCub
Had this professionally fitted so the total cost was more than double the unit cost but well worth it, For me it's a game changer as I can hop on and off the bike with ease, I'm delighted with the product, there was a slight concern my 2019 SuperCub might not line up with the bottom bracket as I have the red/white and blue version but it was fine.
Be warned this isn't easy to fit, you'll need to take the exhaust off, possibly chain too. The pegs are glued on and need a fair force to get off/on as you need to reuse them. but if you are mechanically minded this is possible bread-and-butter work for you.

Does the job.
Bought this for a one hole job but pleased that the overall cost was good value for what it did, The tool itself was robust enough, used a mains powered SDS drill to power through double brick and it coped well, Fittings for standard drill or SDS a bonus, Well worth it for me, if i have other holes to cut in the coming years then fine, if not a decent all round product that you could sell on for min 50% of cost, win-win!
