Good value
Simple and cheap solution for extending MIDI cables, and MIDI installations like guitar pedalboards and similar. Seems robust and works as expected.

Not universally usable out of the box
In my experience the plugs don't hold if placed vertically, they fall out very easily. If used horizontally they could work OK as long as the device isn't moved too much. I guess the plugs could be adapted easily to fit tighter.

Good value and nice looking
Overall very nice connectors for IEMs - the only gripe being that they will not grip the HP cable or provide any stress relief. To work around this I tied a knot in the cable to prevent it from being pulled out, and used the heat shrink tubing as stress relief.
