Once assembled, easy to use
I gave it 4 stars because the instructions had been photocopied so often that the pictures were unclear and difficult to understand. Some steps were skipped. One step calls for bolts to be torqued. I don't own a torque wrench. I had to go to my auto repair shop and ask them to do it for me.Check all pre-assembled parts to make sure the bolts are tightened. The carrier itself is of good quality and easy to use once mounted on my car. Once the bolts were torqued properly. the carrier is steady and sturdy. I was worried that when I had my wifes scooter on the carrier that it would block my tail lights, it does not block the lights.
