Couldn't live without these tablets.

As someone who suffers with various Anemia's, I get run down very fast and often. I originally purchased these to help me with Coldsore outbreaks, for which they have been a Godsend. I have gone from new breakouts every two-weeks or so, to a couple of times a year. A very happy incidental that I discovered while using these tablets was the effect they have on my ulcers. If you suffer from bad mouth ulcers, or injure yourself by biting or burning the inside of your mouth, these will be your new best friend. I honestly can't talk highly enough about the wonders of Lysine tablets. When I'm having an outbreak, I take 2 tabs up to 4 times per day and they speed-heal me like nothing else. These tablets should be in everyone's basic medical kit as they are a life-saver in my home. I have converted so many people who have all had the same results as my family.

Worst Mixer Ever!

I have had four of these mixers, that's right FOUR. I should have known when the first one arrived cracked at the back of the head unit that this was poorly constructed, but I fell for that retro style and persevered. When the fourth one arrived in good condition, I was so excited. The machine does look lovely on the counter, so much so that I replaced all of my small appliances to match. (I am pleased to report that all other items function perfectly.) The mixer is fine for things like egg whites or basic cake batters, suck as a Victoria Sponge, but that's where it's capability ends. I must have baked 4 batches of cookies before realising that the machine can't handle the thick dough. I made probably ten birthday cakes with buttercream before my machine finally gave up its ghost and threw the motor out of the back of the head unit. I have since replaced this machine with a Kenwood, which has only served to show just how lacking this machine is. If you are looking for a machine that serves well as a decorative item that can make the occasional cake, or are looking for a mixer that throws out a pretty decent merengue, then by all means buy this mixer. However, if you're serious about your baking and want a machine that can function under pressure, I would recommend that you avoid this like the plague.

Best paddle attachment ever!

I was lucky enough to receive this attachment in with my KMix mixer. I used it right away and was astounded by the efficiency of it. It creamed the ingrediants so thoroughly in around half the time as the normal paddle. It's super easy to clean too. If you're fortunate enough to have a KMix, I can't recommend this attachment enough.
