Nicely done.
An excellent finale to two of Niven’s excellent series.

Great!
Shatner is great. He has really grown in his skills as an actor. Spader always was great, and this series does a great job highlighting his skills. Auberjonois is also a fine actor in a great role and does an impressive job. They all play sometimes morally bankrupt, slimy lawyers but do it in a way that you can root for them. This is a five-star show.

Excellent series
This is the forerunner to the Boston Legal series with many of the same characters. It's more serious than Boston Legal but every bit as entertaining. Season 8 introduces William Shatner and James Spader and they make this final season more entertaining. Both actors continue in Boston Legal and contribute greatly to the welcome addition of more humor in Boston Legal than was in The Practice.
