Fully rounded recipes that work for real dishes that can be eaten everyday .

Superb introduction to anyone who enjoys food. The recipes cover so many of the dishes we know and are clear and easy to follow.. What makes it special is that each recipe is prefaced by a review of pros and cons of variations, often by well known chefs, and the reasons for the ultimate recipe being chosen given. All done with a light touch. The book is perfect for anyone starting to cook and for those who would like to have a greater understanding of how and why recipes can be improved. A pleasure to read and use.
