The Beast
1 of 1 found this helpful It’s heavy ! But it’s an immensely capable machine , people rant on about the flex volt DW but who regally needs to plug it in ??? These batteries last all day or if using all day long you’d probs have to charge em , it’s not that portable but if it’s permanently fixed to a wheeled saw stand you can pull it around anywhere , it cuts brutally acutely, I’ve always found dewalt get sloppy and move after a few months , these are rock solid !! No sway or movement once locked in . The bevels and mitres go all the way to 60degrees both ways , trenching is a joy too, no dips , clean accurate cuts every time , the only thing I had to adjust was the laser after I’d fitted the blade , in my opinion dewalt are not a patch on this machine , the have a shadow line instead of the laser but I usually go by pencil mark touching blade anyway , I’m going to purchase the 190mm blade cordless fairly soon as it’s easier to take around the sites for odd jobs that are not near where I’m working as this is mainly a stationary bit of kit , the cross cut is just under 400mm , ripping 22mm part sheets of MDF, OSB, chipboard or ply is a doddle , rock solid, reliable and a 3 year warrant, you can’t go wrong , best chop saw I’ve ever had

Flow sensor
Perfect , wasn't sure if it was going to work as this was an educated diagnostic repair , so just used clip on sensor to start with , 3 minute job , pulled old one off and swapped connector block onto new part , clipped that over the impeller housing and turned hot water tap on . Fired up immediately, have spare parts left over too incase impeller fails , under £ 10 , you can't go wrong , fantastic 👍

YSP500 remote
Couldn’t believe how fast it arrived, very impressed, the remote works fine , just have to get used to where and what the buttons do but it works perfectly, comes with an A4 sheet that shows you what each button does with a picture of the remote so it’s very easy to work out and use , a very happy
