Was not the answer to my problem
I'm sure the processor is fine but it did not fix my laptops failure to boot. So unless or until I replace the MB I won't know whether it actually works or not. Sorry

Appears to be as advertised
I bought this as a back up spare so haven't used it yet, but it looks as advertised.

It met my needs.
The product was a non-working motherboard that I bought to get the processors heat sink base off of. It met my purposes.
