A good-looking box of plastic!
It is a nice box of plastic - typical Trumpeter detail and looks to be a straightforward build.

Nice kit of an iconic car
The Fujimi 1/24 GT40 is pretty straightforward, generally capturing the aggressive look of the car with a relatively easy build. The only shortfalls are the lack of an engine and transmission - which can be sourced on the internet - and the tires, which are too narrow for the back end. I also purchased aftermarket decals from Indycals so that I can build the front 3 from the 1966 Le Mans race, as well as Dan Gurney's car (pictured). As far as I am concerned, the Mk. II was the best looking of the lot, including the Mk. IV that won Le Mans the following year (and the modern re-interpretations as well). Enjoy!
