Escalade Tailgate struts

These struts work perfectly in my Escalade. Will they stand the test of time, not sure, but I don't see why not, they seem exactly the same as the originals and considerably cheaper than GM replacements. I could afford to replace them five times for the cost of GM's.

Genuine Volvo D5 Dip Stick Conversion (pipe/stick/2xseals/1xbolt)

Volvo dip stick conversion.

Why this was never fitted in the first place I don't know. The electronic version fitted is a pain. I fitted this to my C70 D3, not in the fitting list, but it fits just the same. The mounting hole is in there and was tapped. I cleaned it out with an M7 tap and it only took a few minutes to fit. its expensive for what it is, but what I would expect for a genuine Volvo part.
