Tube pre-amp
Arrived well packed with basic leads to get it up and running, though I am only using the shielded usb cable as I decided to upgrade the rca interconnects
It is paired up with a pair of Mackie CR4X active studio monitors which are also new so initially the sound quality was not up to much although not bad just very base heavy.
Speakers, cables and amp/tubes now have about 20 hours on them and the sound has greatly improved with the assistance of a burn in and demagnetising recording to speed things up.
Music is played via a laptop, flac format using AIMP player app.
The only small problem encountered was the dac collapsing to “white noise”, however this was easily rectified by removing the usb from the link and plugging straight in to a laptop USB port. Since then I have played the pre-amp for 8 hours continuously with no further collapsing.
Still some time to go until tubes cable and speakers are all burnt in but overall I am very happy with this pre-amp.
I have no previous experience with 6J4 tubes but will give them the benefit of doubt until the magic 50 hours burn in has been reached and they are at their full potential, though more than likely I will roll them out and replace with Russian 6J1P-EV tubes that I have used before in. Yaqin amp as I do like their sonics
Cannot comment on the quality of sound via the headphone socket as I will not use it in this configuration
For the price it is well constructed with a good sound to it and will be hard to find a better unit in the same price range ( less than £90 delivered)

Kanto SP9W speaker stands
Came well packed in a cardboard box so no problems with damage during transit as reported in other reviews
3 Allen keys, 2 spare Allen bolts and pictorial assembly instructions included, so no other tools required.
Very easy to assemble, just remember to pass the speaker cable through the upright post before mounting the base and top plates ( though it makes assembly a tad more difficult) as this will save a lot of bother at the end.
The stands are well designed and constructed, very stable with my Audio Monitor Silver S1 speakers sat on them, at 6kg each.
Top and base lates come with foam already attached so no insulating feet required initially, will have to see if it compresses over time. The top plate can be rotated for toe-in or toe-out of your speakers if required, however it is far less hassle to position the complete stand to achieve this effect.
Very pleased with the quality and they have no adverse effects on the sound of the speakers.
They are good value for the money and available in either black or white , though I chose white as they are located on a white desk.
All in all I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for 9” or 6” desktop speaker stands
