A good waterproof watch, with tidal features.
This is my 4th watch of this style. I need to be able to tell the tides and this does a good job. The other watches have all lasted about 2 years before I changed the battery. My last watch had a defective strap and one of the blue buttons had come off. A new strap was nearly as much as this watch.
I tried living without a watch for two weeks. It was a pain, although I got used to estimating the time.
There was no manual, so I will have to try and remember how to set the tides.

Works well
Despite being cold it lights easily and produces a hot blowtorch flame, ideal for lighting my evening fires!

Broken handle
When working, it does it's job. However I have had two of these and have broken both where the plastic handle thins as it meets the shaft. I wrote to Whale, who ignored my letters.
I looked at a recent pump in a chandlers and it had the same fault.
