Great immediate sound (if you like on ears)
1 of 1 found this helpful Freq response is excellent as is the speed of the drivers. Very immediate and surprisingly musical. If you like on ears, these overall sound better than the hd25ii. For dialog only I give the hd25ii better marks , but that is my opinion. The DT has really good isolation and lighter clamp pressure. Overall an excellent headset for those who don't mind on-ears.

Smooth and warm with a gold covered diaphragm, a really nice mic for the price.

Great little sound card
For anyone needing a simple, minimal audio interface this works really well and sounds quite good! One mic and/or one instrument -perfect.
If you need more simultaneous tracks than this is not for you. If you are an audiophile type than perhaps you need to look in the 600-800 range.
I wanted something small and simple (that still sounds good) for times when I’m alternating between a couple computers and I don’t want or need to fire up my higher end equipment. This device really does exactly what I needed.
Last, was a bit disappointed to learn the ID4 doesn’t have burr-browns in it (as it’s bigger does) nevertheless, it sounds quite good.
