Idiocracy (DVD)
Hilarious, entertaining and thought-provoking. Sadly the subjects of the movie may not find it thought-provoking, since human evolution of communication has progressed to mindless reiteration of advertising catch-phrases. One military man together with a prostitute has been volunteered for a Rip Van Winkle act which goes wrong. They wake up a few hundred years older into a scene of total ruling dumbness. Trying to get back on the "Time Masheen" they are sidetracked into government and solving the crops no-grow crisis. (Plants do not "crave Brawndo with electrolytes" as the Government thought). Doing good as the brainiest pair on the planet makes them decide to stay on...........
I saw ir 3 years back and wanted to buy it ever since - must see again and again!
