Desugn fault

I am afraid I find this product positively unsafe in its design. You can not release the brake/lock button all the time the dog is pulling so in an emergency you can't recall dog. The product is well made and price is reasonable but the fault is in the design. I have replaced the two that I bought with 'Flexi' products which don't have this problem.
