Somehow improved in every way
The Micro Monitors (previous model) were already great, but these are astonishing. These are dependable production monitors that are small and tough enough to be taken travelling, and the done-in-seconds calibration means you can trust them in every new room. Flat from 40Hz up. It's hard to see what they can do next to improve these, other than creating a portable subwoofer.

Excellent pads. I was using a Harman cur...
Excellent pads. I was using a Harman curve correction from AutoEQ for this set, and I was pleased to see they also have a curve created for the LCD-X with the Dekoni pads. There is a really strong memory spring to these pads, which makes me confident that they'll stay in shape longer than the Audeze originals.

Nice to return to the brand
The last few tablets I bought were all cheap models from another brand, but it was a false economy. The drivers were terrible and they all stopped working after a number of months.
