gaelic english/english gaelic dictionary
By no means comprehansive, this is not the Gaelic version of OED. But that is not the purpose or point of the book. Firstly it is A6 in size, perfect for the back pocket. The print is small font, so take your reading glasses with you, but it is a working dictionary that is extremely useful for new learners of the language. It should fit in well with a FL800 style of study and as such is an excellent crib.
On the negative side, though Renton & MacDonald put the m and f spelling there is no phonetics, so pronunciation is problematic to the none speaker. For what it is, the dictionary is a working pocket dictionary, that fits in the pocket, which is more useful than some dictionaries. It is very good value for money and for a language that in principal is unwritten in history, it is comprehansive.

Proper Grooming
Beyond oil. Mo Bro's beard balm gives a great sheen and leaves a lovely soft beard. I have not had as many cuddles for years of the wife. Truth is she loves the scent of cedarwood on my well groomed beard.

A Practical and Sensible Route Planner.
The spiral binding allows map reading by the navigator and makes their job easier. the full size A3 book is harder to handle in the passenger sat. the scale is that little bit larger and gives detail. Also the book fits in the map case on the back of the seats, so is easier to stow away. Altogether a good practical route planner and far better than that stupid, patronising, errant sat nav.
