Wonderful happy holiday music.
My parents had a copy of this LP when I was a youngster and it was often played. I liked the music then and I still like it now. I inherited my parents copy of this LP but it is now showing (audible) signs of the extensive amount of playing that it has had. Time to get a fresher copy. Saw this copy advertised. Both the vinyl and cover were described as being "near mint". This description was 100% accurate. The LP and cover look brand new. The LP plays like a new record. I like all of the music on this LP, but assume that most people will probably favour either "Zorba's Dance" or "Never on a Sunday". If I put this LP on and close my eyes, I am transported back to thoughts of happy holidays spent in Mediterranean areas. It also has a double whammy happiness effect of bringing back a lot of joyful memories of times spent with my family when I was young. I have yet to encounter anybody who does not like this LP. It is just wonderful music that will bring a smile to your face.

Good sound in a convenient package.
This player appears to be well built. It is mainly constructed of a robust plastic material with only the tonearm and platter being made of metal from its external appearance. It is as tough as it needs to be, considering that most people will have it sitting in one place for most of its life. It looks pretty good. More importantly it sounds good. It has a smooth, nicely balanced, clear sound. Enough bass, treble and midrange. All hanging together nicely. Sounds exciting and dramatic when it should and restrained and subtle when it should. So far it has only be tried with rock, pop and some easy listening music. Gave enjoyable renditions of all those types. Should give a good enjoyable rendition of just about any type of music. Its automatic start, stop and auto return features will be a boon to those people who either like to or have to engage in some other activity while their music is playing. Looks good, sounds very good and is convenient to use. What a bargain.

Great Mariachi sound with a background Punk influence.
I am not an expert on Mariachi music or Mexican music in general but I have heard bits and pieces of both on TV and films. So I had a general idea of what to expect. In addition, I had heard a couple of tracks off this CD on YouTube before I bought it. This CD did not disappoint me at all. I like every track on it but Revolution Girls and 48 Roses are my particular favourites. To me, this CD conveys a convincing impression of a Mariachi band playing pop music at a very high standard. It is very catchy. Once I put it on, I just let it play all of the way through. When it finishes, I often put it straight back on and play it all of the way through again. Just buy it and play it for yourself. I think most people will like this CD.
