Comment from a multi-instrumentalist
At first, I had some problems with the initial command (the towel to clean with a weight broke at first use and the ligature given was in metal instead of leather) I told him the problems and he sent me the leather ligature on the pictures without questions. The new towel is still very fragile, same cheap conception, and too thick to be used inside the instrument... the leather ligature might not be the best I had, but it works wonderfully!
There was a reed with the kit, don’t touch it, just put it in the trash because you will be like me, thinking the clarinet is awful until you try a good reed on it.
The case looks good, but it has clips to close it, I’m alway afraid to forget to clip it before taking the clarinet. Also, there no extra space with the clarinet
I play many instruments and I’m quite used to adjust or play instruments, even though I never touched it. Only a few corrections to the keys was needed until it works perfectly. I played clarinet before, but not a lot (probably like 2 hours), the sound and playability is very good to me (very easy when you play saxophone) and seemed very good to a professional friend of mine. It’s just like a clarinet you would pay 700 to 800$ CAD. The keys seem to be good quality, but the barrel is not universal, you might have a leak if you take one from another company, but the ones given works fine enough so you won’t have to do it.
Also, it was delivered faster than expected!
Summary: I really like it, probably one of my favorite instrument to play with! I 100% would recommend!
