Nice to finally have Calvin & Hobbes in one place, pity about the binding.
3 of 3 found this helpful I purchased this set for my husband to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. The case holding the volumes is sleek and attractive. The set is VERY heavy and since the books are so thick with such heavy paper, it did separate from the binding. We're a little disappointed with that. They may have to be rebound. He was floored when he opened it. He sat forever just looking through the volumes and smiling. It has all the strips from the newspapers with the date each one originally ran. The daily strips are in black and white while the strips from the Sunday paper are full color. It's really nice to have them all in one place.
All in all, it's a good product. I would have given 5 stars had the binding been sturdier.
