Nostalgia for 1950's Norfolk period RAF aircraft
A typical 1950's gentle comedy film in the mode of the Ealing comedies of the period - What lifts it for Aviation enthusiasts and people interested in rural English countryside of the 1950's are the wonderful location shots of Norfolk and the RAF base used for the main part of the story. Vampires, Swifts and Meteors feature heavily and there is even a Lancaster parked up near the Hangars. Plenty of nostalgia there. Cast is full of great 50's actors such as John Gregson and Nial McGuinnes. No special effects, the planes and the flying sequences are real

Still a good model
An old kit dating back to the late 60's/early 70's I think, but still a good model of two WWII RAF vehicles. Very little flash and good detail considering the age. Not as good as Airfix's newer kits but still worth a build if you want vehicles to compliment all those WWII Aircraft

A well detailed little kit
A very nice model of a neglected subject - far more detailed than the old Frog kit - Great decals, well thought out instuction booklet with good colour views of the options in the kit - The one down side is the lack of underwing stores - these seem to be available as a separate kit
