Jim Crow explained.
Brings enlightenment into the treatment of African/Americans from slavery thru emancipation, reconstruction, the Jim Crow era, to the 1950’s. Can be considered the evolution of the Negro in the US, with a strong emphasis on the southland.

A worthwhile viewing experience.
A good historical narrative, obviously shorter than Michener's novel, but well done. Having moved to Texas six months ago, it was necessary viewing.
