Solid and powerful but needs good blades.
REally nice and well made tool.
BUT I have only used it for one job to alter a table made of Russian birch wood and the blades supplied with the tool were rubbish and would not cut!
I had to go buy a new set of blades and even then the wood seemed really hard.
The tool will probably be fine for working on thin plywood.
If I could turn the clock back I would probably have spent more money and bought a plunge router for great versatility and cutting power.

A Throwback to 1980!
1 of 5 found this helpful I bought this because I need a Windows laptop to type book on when I'm sat in front of telly and inspiration strikes and I don't want to bother going to switch my main PC on.
But Oh No!!!!!!!!!!! This laptop is so slow and clunky it makes me scream!
I cannot see how to dismiss all the popups!
Win10 needs killing.
Avoid like the plague and get something with Win 8 if your reeally need Windows but otherwise GET A CHROMEBOOK!
I forgot - It has a gorgeous keyboard action which I test ran in PCWorld to make me buy it so for typing manuscript it should be fine but for internet I'll pick up the old Chromebook or go use the desktop!

super product - makes pastry and dough work a delight.
